Here is another one of the outfits that I put together with Maguen 11:11.
I initially picked out oversized red/coral pants for the look, but being man size they didn't look quite good on me so I ended up combining the oversized polka dot shirt with some slim cut out jeans of mine.
Superga seemed like the perfect summer/casual touch to add to the look as well as this ASOS bag, and Mr. Boho just added that pop of color and fun.

Which combination do you like most? My winter version or this one?

Have an amazing day!

MAGUEN 11:11

 photo Maguenstreet1188jpg_effected_zpse7e878c8.jpg

A few weeks ago, I teamed up with Maguen 11:11 to pick out a few of my favorite items and create different outfits.
I dare to say most girls love stealing their dads, brothers or boyfriends clothes wether it is to sleep, to achieve that oversized look, or because.. what the heck, it looks good on us too!
As you may already know, Maguen 11:11 is a menswear store but I fell in love with some pieces and made them look good on me.
Here is one of the looks I put together.
What do you think?
Hope you like the result!
As if having an afternoon putting together fun outfits wasn't enough, of course, because otherwise I wouldn't be me, I ended the afternoon having brunch in my dear Murillo cafe.
Perfect ending.

The name Drifting Nomad doesn't come in vain.
Aside from being born an ocean away from where I currently live, from having attended 14 different schools  in various different cities throughout my life, it is inevitable that drifting, wondering and exploring is a constant and forever a part of a my life.
I've been living in Europe for the past 11  years and have been able to travel, get lost, learn and absorb various and diverse cultures.
If I had to pick three of my favorite destinations -with the risk of sounding cliche and cheesy - (and probably because I still have a lot to explore, get to know and learn) they would most definitely be Paris, London and a tie between Barcelona and Amsterdam.

I don't know why as I edited these pictures the Inspector Gadget song got to my head and stayed for repeat throughout the whole process. Maybe it's the Zero UV round sunnies or the long trench coat, maybe its the mix of both but something clicked and made me see myself as a detective...
As you read this, I am on my way to visit my best friend in Porto, Portugal.
Remember my last post there this summer?
I can't wait to come back and show you more adventures and new discoveries.
Have an amazing weekend!

As some of you might have noticed, I was away for almost all of January. Aside from being very busy I had the pleasure of visiting Dubai again & this time for a wonderful reason: two of my best friends got married.
I met Malaak in school here in Madrid. As we both moved and changed paths we didn't see each other for a very long time until she created La Tienda (remember this post?) and contacted me to help her out. Ever since then we have been closer than ever and I have gone twice to see her in Dubai, a city I have fallen in love with and I am now considering moving to.
Being in one, if not, the most important days of both their life's has meant so much to me. The ceremony was held in the beautifully decorated garden of the Kempinski Hotel in Palm Jumeirah where we stayed for a couple of nights. Everything looked and felt magical. Malaak herself being an interior designer and event planner made sure every detail was perfect.
Seeing and perceiving the differences in cultures and tradition is breath taking and incredibly enriching. I have not only fallen in love with Dubai, but also with the people, the culture, the religion, the variety and opportunities it holds... and this is only a small part of what I can share.

Thank you for teaching me so much and for being a part of my life.
