NEW YORK CITY: AFTERNOON IN DUMBO

 photo QT1A7961_zpsae98a687.jpg

I believe we are all guilty of comfortably sticking to all black outfits, when lacking inspiration, time or simply want to cover up any remaining holiday (or including summer) extras.
I, myself, am a lover of the simplicity yet elegance and easiness of an all black outfit, but, what I like even more, is adding the perfect pop of color and texture with one of those extra flamboyant pieces we all have (or should have) in our wardrobes.

NEW YORK CITY: I CAN BREATH AGAIN

 photo sandraarenas011_zps23cd7fe5.jpg

Ever since I moved back to New York City, countless emotions, sensations, feelings and what nots have been felt, thought and gone through my mind.
I named my blog Drifting Nomad for a reason.
Everywhere I've ever been, ever lived, I only stayed for a while.
When you adapt a nomad lifestyle, not only do things come and go more often, but, you're constantly in an unknown phase, an unknown place, because, you never really know what your nest step or your next destination is, and more importantly, how long a while will be this time.

I found my way back home again
But I can only stay for awhile
Now that I'm on my own I can
Finally I can breathe again
So I can only stay for awhile

BOOM!
Lights, action, movement, colors, night at 3pm, daylight when it's nighttime, Times square, Flat Iron, Columbus Circle from atop, Rain, Mirrors, Tourists, me and of course, my beanie, through Tutes' eye and lens.

When two of my ultimate favorite things are combined, mixed, or simply happen at the same time, nothing but good can result.

NEW YORK CITY: DON'T SWALLOW THE CAP

 photo neilaline-86650006_zpsf2a6d616.jpg

In case you haven't heard, seen or your Facebook newsfeed hasn't been bombarded by resolutions, promises and reminders that yet another year has passed, well, here I am, to again, bring to your attention that 2015 is here.
I don't want to look back, create expectations or make promises I probably won't be able to keep.
Every day, every minute is new, is a chance, is an opportunity.
